When it comes to the world of celebrity beauty, no one dominates quite like the Kardashian clan. From Kylie’s unusual primer hack to Kourtney’s DIY hair mask, it’s fair to say the A-list sisters know a thing or two about beauty.

So, when we saw Kim Kardashian had released a video tutorial on her five-minute makeup look using only her Contour and Highlight Kit for KKW Beauty, we just had to share it with you.

1

Brighten and conceal

To begin with, Kim applied the matte end of the highlighting stick underneath her eyes, around her nose and on the centre of her forehead to brighten the areas you’d usually conceal.

By using a matte formula, a subtle hint of radiance is added to the areas rather than a full-blown strobing effect.

2

Contour the nose

Next, Kim took the lighter colour of her dual-ended contour stick in the medium shade to slim her nose, making sure to add colour to the tip of her nose, too.

Add cheekbone definition

Finally, Kim took the darker shade of the medium stick and defined her cheeks and edges of her face, applying colour directly under her cheekbones and jawlines, as well as along her hairline.

If you’ve always found contouring to be a little tricky, Kim’s tip is to apply product in a number ‘3’ formation, starting at the forehead, coming in towards the nose and down along the jaw before thoroughly blending it out in circular motions with a densely-packed brush or sponge.
