Dermal Therapy Overnight Face Repair Cream

This night cream from Dermal Therapy comes in a 40g squeeze tube. The design is utilitarian. The ingredients include urea and glycerin (great humectants) as well as additional active ingredients common in anti-aging products, such as Vit E, Vit C derivative and peptides + 3 ceramides. This product comes out thick from the tube, but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It has a strong smell because of the urea. Texture-wise it feels a little gritty at first but it spreads out fine. It's not the most elegant, however, it does the job in that it protects my skin overnight and I wake up without feeling any dryness. Since I already use a lot of actives in my skincare routine, I did not notice any additional benefits apart from it being a good moisturiser. I find myself not looking forward to applying this face cream because of the smell though. This 40g tube retails at $21.99, whereas Dermal Therapy's very dry face cream, which also has 5% urea and comes in a 50g tube retails at $18.99. This overnight repair cream is 'better' in terms of the addition anti-aging ingredients, but probably not at a high enough percentage to make a real difference. So unless you are the type of person who does not want to incorporate serums at all into your routine, I think the very dry face is a better buy.

I love that it’s non greasy so it’s nice and comfortable to wear overnight and all the goodies work to repair and rejuvenate my skin overnight, in the morning my skin looks brighter, I don’t look as tired and it feels hydrated and soft. It’s a great anti ageing product and great for more mature skin. A great overnight face repair skin that I would purchase again
