Dermalogica Essential Cleansing Solution

It's one of those products which may work for the right skin type, but it's not for me. I got a 50mL travel size of this product from a promotional kit. I have normal/combination skin so I thought I'd use this only in winter season in the morning replacing my cream cleanser. But I found this cleanser is still too weak for my liking. The milky texture feels more like a lotion. I don't feel this cleanser cleanses properly, nor does it rinse off properly. It leaves a residue on my skin which I don't like. My t zone still feels oily after cleansing. It does not leave skin dry or overstripped. For a creamy cleanser I much prefer the Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser, which is designed for dry and sensitive skin but rinses off clean.

This is my go-to cleanser, its super moisturizing and calming, I use it after I've taken off my make up with precleanse. This cleanser won't remove your make up, it cleanses the skin gently and doesn't clog pores.  It's a cream formula without any heavy fragrance. I  apply it to damp skin and leave it for a minute before gently buffing it off with a face cloth.  I usually buy the 250ml which lasts me about 4-5 months. It's not a foaming cleanser so it doesn't dry out or irritate my sensitive skin. Id definitely recommend for very dry skin.
