Beauty Boost Cleansing Balm

This cleansing balm comes in a firmly packaged block inside the packing and has a handy little scoop to allow for hygenic and easy distribution of the product - I placed the scoop on top and scraped off the desired amount from the top of the product. The balm is very thick and creamy and has a mild, non-irritating fragrance. On application, it takes a little while for the balm to melt into a soft and gentle cleanser. I found that the balm was great in removing my foundation, however I still had some eye make-up residue after drying my face and had to continue with my standard eye make-up remover to clean up. This product didn't irritate my eyes as others have commented, however I did get a small amount in my eye and felt like it was really difficult to rinse away due to the thick consistency of the balm, so I would advise caution if using it to remove eye make up.

Lovely product

The Natio Beauty Boost Cleansing Balm is a gentle balm-to-oil cleanser ideal for dry, combination, and sensitive skin. It effortlessly melts away makeup, sunscreen, and daily impurities without stripping natural moisture. Enriched with nourishing botanical oils like sweet almond and avocado, plus shea butter and chamomile, it leaves skin soft, hydrated, and refreshed. While not ideal for removing waterproof makeup, it excels in everyday use and as the first step in a double cleansing routine. With a light natural scent, cruelty-free formulation, and affordable pricing, it’s a soothing and accessible option for Australian consumers seeking a reliable cleansing balm. I love the unique texture; it feels like a gel but offers mild exfoliating properties, setting it apart from other cleansers.

Great first step

I’m still pretty new to cleansing balms, so I don’t have a huge frame of reference, but I’ve really enjoyed using this one. It effortlessly breaks down sunscreen and makeup without any need for rough rubbing. The texture is thick and luxurious, yet it rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. That said, it is quite rich for my oily skin. Still, one of the biggest positives for me is how gentle it is. My skin is quite reactive and tends to break out easily, but this balm doesn’t cause any issues as long as a follow with a cleanser. It also has a light, calming scent that makes my nighttime skincare feel more like a little self-care ritual. The packaging is solid and practical, and since you only need a small amount each time, it’s likely to last a while. All in all, a lovely product to kick off any skincare routine. It is effective, gentle, and nourishing.

Removes makeup and grime gently

This cleansing balm was recommended to me and I really love it. I love the soft buttery texture and how easily it removes makeup, dirt grime and excess oil without stripping skin and making it dry. It’s really economical as the tub holds quite a bit and I don’t need to use a lot. It has no scent and won’t irritate sensitive skin like mine so that is an added bonus. After using this my skin looks really clean and clear and feels soft. It’s packaged nicely and is priced well, it removes impurities with ease and is packed with goodies to nourish my skin. I would purchase this product again

Beautiful Balm, But Not for Eyes

I recently tried the Natio Glow – Beauty Boost Cleansing Balm and was immediately impressed by the beautiful packaging. It looks elegant on my vanity and gives a luxurious first impression. I also appreciated the included applicator, which makes scooping out the product hygienic and convenient, no mess or product under the nails! The balm itself works really well at melting away makeup and cleansing the skin. It leaves my face feeling soft, nourished, and clean without any residue. However, I want to stress that this product is not suitable for removing eye makeup. I used it on my eye area and unfortunately experienced a very uncomfortable stinging sensation. It was harsh enough that I had to rinse immediately and my eyes felt irritated afterward. What’s particularly concerning is that the packaging doesn’t indicate that it shouldn’t be used on the eyes. Given how common it is for cleansing balms to double as eye makeup removers, I feel this is a crucial oversight. In summary: beautiful packaging, great performance on the face but avoid the eye area completely

Don’t use on your eyes

This cleansing balm has a lovely fragrance and feels nice and nourishing on the skin. It appeared to do a good job of removing my make up as my first cleanse before using my second cleanser to clean my skin. However, the one downside for me is this cannot be used on the eyes. One of the main reasons I use a cleansing balm is to take off my makeup and specifically my tubular mascara. The packaging didn’t mention to not use on the eyes, so I rubbed it all over my face like other cleansing balms and my eyes were stinging for ages afterwards so I definitely don’t recommend it! This is disappointing as I don’t want to use or purchase a specific eye makeup remover and would prefer a product that can be used over the whole face.

Excellent make up remover

A real value-for-money winner. The product is gentle on the skin and the most effective make up remover I have ever used. No need to double cleanse here. I love the texture. It like a gel but has exfoliating properties - which is very different from other cleansers. It has almost no scent which is great for those with sensitivities. It is relatively cheap considering the size of the container - and you need only a little each time. The little spoon/scope is also useful. Only one minor criticism - it does leave my skin a little dry - but I am 55 (and post menopausal)

Good first step

I'm fairly new to cleansing balms, so have only a few to compare to, but I found this one nice to use as the weather cools down. It melts away makeup and sunscreen without the need for harsh scrubbing. The texture is rich and buttery, but it emulsifies nicely when rinsed, leaving my skin feeling clean but not stripped, although it can be a bit much in the overly warm QLD climate for oily skin! One of the things I really appreciate is how gentle it is on my skin. I have a tendency toward redness and sensitivity, but this balm doesn’t cause any irritation or tightness. In fact, my skin feels softer and more nourished after each use. It also has a subtle, pleasant scent that adds a bit of a spa-like feel to my evening routine. The packaging is sturdy and easy to use, and a little goes a long way, so I can see this lasting me a while. Overall, a great first step in my skincare routine—especially for anyone looking for a cleansing option that’s both effective and kind to the skin.
