Dermalogica Skin Resurfacing Cleanser

Dermalogica, I don't know what it is about you, I've only used you for a short time, but somehow, your products have got under my skin in a big way. It must be love. I have tried a lot of cleansers in my quest for beautiful, healthy, clear, even and radiant skin and some, like this Dermalogica skin resurfacing cleanser, have a special place in my heart. They only get that privilege when they do things like work effectively, are gentle enough for my sensitive skin yet will help clear existing and future blemishes, are in a pump applicator so they are mess free and hygienic. This cleanser does all this and more, so it will always have that special place in my heart. After wiping over my face with a cotton pad soaked in micellar water, I massaged one pump of this creamy cleanser over my damp skin in small circular motions, then rinsed thoroughly with cool water and applied serum and moisturiser. The results were instant and spectacular. My skin was soft, smooth, hydrated, even and radiant, after just one application . It was also gentle yet I could feel the slight tingle of the lactic acid working its exfoliating magic on my skins surface.  I use this every other day, mixing it up with my Modelco gentle cream cleanser, and my skin looks amazing, just better and better. It's smooth, soft, hydrated, dewy, radiant and glowing, like I'm having a professional facial each time I use it. My skin is slowly and surely clearing up, it's more even and less red, I don't have the need for an extra exfoliater, as this cleanser smooths away rough and dry patches with ease and gentleness and the serum and moisturiser I use afterwards seem to sink in and work better and more effectively. Dermalogica, I still don't know how you manage to get under my skin and into my heart, but don't stop now, making me feel confident, beautiful, radiant and powerful and so worth being a beauty loving girl every day.

A great creamy cleanser that contains chemical exfoliants.It really does seem to do the trick. Take care if you have super sensitive skin, as the exfoliants may sting. I guess that’s why you get a consultation at Dermalogica (however, I found that the online tool for assessing your skin needs suited me very well and pointed me to some excellent products). It’s a really good cleanser for me in winter, as I prefer foaming cleansers in summer or in the morning in the shower. It does remove makeup but for eye makup I prefer the Dermalogical eye makeup cleanser (much more gentle) or the precleanse (excellent for waterproof makeup).

Dermalogica is a staple in my bathroom for many reasons....it is affordable,serious skincare that works,it is only available in salons...so you get expert advice when purchasing (not like a supermarket or pharmacy) and it is suitable for both men and women. I got this when i was looking for a cleanser that delivered more than just removing my makeup (after all,i multitask,my cosmetics need to as well) and this delivered.It is a creamy feeling cleanser that lathers up with a very herbal smelling scent that is rich enough not to be 'drying', very simple to use, and leaves my skin feel fabulous with a new skin kind of feel (thanks to the addition of.Lactic Acid concentrate,which helps retexturise skin).All but the most sensitive of skins can use this.If you want a refined skin with reduced pore size and breakouts,smoothed out lines and a beautiful canvas to apply makeup...this is for you (and the bottle lasts ages).TIP:A sunscreen is a must use when using this product,as it is giving the same kind of effect as glycolic or a retinol (which makes you extra prone to sun).
