Lancôme Galatéis Douceur

This is a milky cleanser that comes in a beautifully-designed bottle. It is definitely fragranced, but the scent is lovely, and the texture is light and non-greasy. It removes make-up quite effectively if used with a cotton pad - not as well as an oil cleanser but better than many milky cleansers and micellar waters on the market. It doesn't irritate my skin or my eyes or leave any oily residue. No rinsing is required, unless you prefer it. It is a bit pricey but does come in a big bottle (200ml or 400ml) that will last for quite a while.

The make up remover comes in a tall white bottle with a pump-style dispenser and a lid. Like all Lancome products, the packaging is beautiful and elegant. I first tried this when I received a sample with a gift with purchase. From memory, it was 50ml and lasted a long time because a little bit goes a long way. I still can't put my finger on the scent but it's a lovely floral scent. It's faint but enough to be noticeable. After finishing the sample, I knew I had to purchase a full size bottle! I pump some lotion onto a cotton pad, then I rub it against another cotton pad. The lotion is runny, so that's why I spread it onto another cotton pad instead of wasting the product. I wipe both pads in circular motions on both sides of my face. I grab more cotton pads as required (depending on how much make up I wore that day) and pump formula onto a pad and then spread it onto another again. I generally remove my eye make up first because it's usually the hardest to remove. This formula is gentle enough around the eyes and even removes waterproof mascara. After removing all my make up, my skin feels smooth and refreshed. However, I will still use a gentle face wash after and continue with my skincare routine as per usual. I'd recommend this to those who wear make up everyday or those who just wear it on special occasions. It's great since it doubles up as an eye make up remover so if you're traveling, you only need to bring this instead of two products!
