Helps reduce oily skin

This is one of the first cream washes I have used and wasn’t really sure what to expect. I love the light green colour & texture of this wash and the smell. It is not too overpowering considering it has eucalyptus in it. You don’t need a lot as a little goes a long way. It cleans your skin well and leave it feeling nice and fresh. I use this only at night as I find it works well to clean all the impurities from the day/makeup. Since using this I have noticed my oily skin has not become as oily so quick and also my pores less noticeable.
I was lucky enough to receive a full-size tube of this eucalyptus cleanser in a box of L’Oreal goodies. I love trying out cleansers and have a stash of them.  I was very keen to give this one a go, but with my skin issue most definitely  being DRYNESS I did hesitate at first – the words“mattify” and “purify” in a description is often doublespeak for an oily skin product, and you just know that there’s going to be some heavy-duty cleansing going on.  I also wasn’t too sure what to make of this cleanser at first, as products with this much clay usually tend to be masks. In the end I decided to trust the “suitable for all skin types” descriptor (surely something this pretty and minty-green wouldn’t lie?),and read the tube again – definitely a cleanser and wash. Not a mask. The cleanser contains a selection of clays – Kaolin, Montmorillonite and Ghassoul which have cleansing and exfoliating properties and help reduce shine and inflammation, so just as effective in reducing the effects of sweat, as in toning down the redness of acne. Ghassoul is particularly rich in several minerals so, on top of everything else it is nourishing and smoothing as well! Pure clay wash also contains Eucalyptus and Salicylic Acid – both anti-inflammatory, cleansing and soothing. So all in all,  something of a hero product. The cleanser is a smooth, creamy texture that lathers and foams very well, so only a small amount is needed. It is a really pretty pale-green colour as mentioned and smells as fresh as it feels – a very unusual scent which I assume is down to the clays of the formula. After using micellar water to remove eye makeup and some of my foundation, I smooth a small amount on my damp face, massaging gently to cover the whole area. After this I recommend to use a warm wet facecloth to remove the cleanser as I find this softens and opens the pores. I then follow with a final rinse, before continuing the rest of my skin routine. I was delighted with the outcome of this product from the start – it really does mattify and smooth my complexion, which looks and feels clear and flawless. There was very little of the drying effect I had feared – only very slightly around my nose contours and upper lip, which disappeared quickly once I’d applied serum. No redness, no “squeaky clean” feel, and no tautness. I was onto a winner!  I have tended to use this product at night when I do my heavier cleansing to remove all traces of makeup, but it is equally useful in the morning, when you can add your primer to an already mattified canvas. I have recommended this product already to friends who have issues with rough textured skin, but with its line-up of ingredients it would really be suitable for most people. To have such a budget-friendly product achieve such good results is something of a find and it deserves every one of its 5 stars!
Never one to really get into the whole cleansing oils / creams / balms etc,i always look out for a great foaming cleanser that does more than just "strip and leave" my skin. I adore the feel of bubbles and foam...i feel it really is deep cleansing and removing the day from my skin, whilst also ridding me of excess sebum.I also am all over the whole "clays for skin" trend (although for me,it has never been a "trend"...it's always been a bonafide "must have" in some shape or form) ,so when i heard about these cleansers,i got them all. The L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Eucalyptus Purifying Cream Wash,is a mint hued, fresh scented, foaming gel cleanser that gently, yet unbelievably effectively removes makeup, pollutants, oils and anything else that the day has thrown your pore's way, thanks to the beautiful mix of three "must have" clays: Kaolin: A highly effective natural clay, known to absorb impurities and excess sebum (ever used a clay mask ? Then i could lay down $ that this was in it) Montmorillonite: Rich in minerals, a clay recognised for helping to eliminate impurities. And finally, Ghassoul: A pure clay highly concentrated in minerals renowned for helping to clarify complexion.Plus the addition of Eucalyptus extract to refresh and uplift your senses and add a cooling sensation. It feels creamy and rich on application, suds up gorgeously and rinses away cleanly, leaving a matte, cleansed and fresh visage. It does not however, leave you feeling "dried out", "parched" or any other negative adjective usually applied to something that works as well as this baby does. The tube is a large 150ml size,is around $15,and lasts for a good few months with daily use (an amount equal to a 20c piece will do your entire face / neck and dec).It is also perfect as a facewash for any teens in the house AND as a shaving foam for hubby (cooling and mattifying in one step). Now that summer has arrived, try this as a product to remove heavier sunscreen AND help keep you matte....when humidity renders that darn near impossible. TIP:In the AM,before applying makeup, use this as an adjunct to any primer you may use....the beautiful, perfect matte feel will last so much longer (and so will your artwork).
One of the best products I have ever purchased! It has been able to make my skin feel cleaner and smoother. I have quite oily skin which doesn't help my pores but this product has been helping the oiliness incredibly well. It is really great to use after you cleanse and exfoliate the skin and overall has been working very well on my face. I love the smell of eucalyptus which is another reason why I have really enjoyed using this. I would definitely recommend to friends and family members.
If you're in the market for a new cleanser I highly recommend looking in to the new L'Oreal cleansers! This is a favourite of many people I know, and I can understand why! It is a really lovely cleanser that works really well to remove make up and cleanse skin - leaving you feeling squeaky clean. It says it is a mattifying cleanser and while it is 'matte' I don't find it drying and even though I have dry skin I still really enjoy using it and how it's been leaving my skin feeling.
I LOVE the Pure Clay Purifying Cream Wash. Used it about 10 times already and my view hasn’t changed. It’s light, smooth on the skin, and blends well with water to deep clean, without drying out my skin. The product smells minty rather than eucalyptus and the clay is so fine and not at all sticky and gluggy like other clay-based products.Definitely recommend.
This cleanser has such a nice refreshing texture and after using it my skin much more moisturised. It did an amazing job of removing my everyday make up leaving my skin feeling purified. However I did notice my oily skin hasn't really improved - but besides that I would definitely recommend this cleanser!
I found that this product was more of a miss than a hit for me. The scent was lovely and the consistency of the cleanser was something I generally enjoyed, I found that 2 days in I had quite deep painful breakouts in areas I would only get when my skin reacts badly with a product. I didn't find it particularly mattifying or cleansing for that matter.  I did like that the cleanser felt quite gentle and never dried my skin unfortunately this one just wasn't for me

This cleanser is easy to use and left my skin feeling smooth and freshed, with the smell being an added bonus. Being a working mum I have limited time, but I really enjoyed using this product as it took no time at all to apply and I saw the results of my skin in days. The clay cleanser is value for money, definitely a product I would highly recommend to people on the go looking for an easy to use skin care product.
I really liked the texture and feel of this product, the texture is really smooth and you can visibly see how matte your skin is after using and feels lovely under make-up. I have really clear combination skin and found that I did start to break out in areas that I wouldn't usually. I also have quite large pores in my T-Zone and found that the cleanser wasn't able to cleanse/exfoliate this area very well, so I ended up using an exfoliating scrub on these areas either before or after using this cleanser to get a deeper clean.
This product has a really lovely smooth texture and a pleasant fragrance. It lathers up gently and cleaned my skin nicely leaving it feeling soft and smooth. I have combination skin and am prone to an oily T zone throughout the day, after using this product I found that the oiliness on my T zone wasn't as obvious. I would definitely recommend this product.
The Eucalyptus Purifying Cream Wash has a refreshing treat for my skin. I have sensitive skin around the eye, and I had no trouble with this cleanser. It really moisturised this area, whilst overall removed my daily make-up and left my skin feeling deeply cleaned, fresh and moisturised. I would highly recommend.
I’ve used this cleanser for 2 weeks now and I’m really happy with it. The cleanser leaves my face feeling fresh, and my pores appear to be smaller without the feeling of tight or itchy skin (which usually happens to me as I have sensitive skin). It also has a really nice creamy/thick texture when applying. Highly recommend!
I have really enjoyed using this product so far.  It's quite rare to find something in this area for someone with oily skin. It really meets and actually excels expectations. There's a cool and refreshing sensation and smell as you use this product. Afterwards my skin feels really clean and hydrated and stays mattified throughout the day. Since using this product daily, my skin looks and feels better and it certainly has looked a lot clearer since using, I'd highly recommend this product to anyone with an oily skin type.
The Eucalyptus clay cleanser was so good. I started using it recently to help with my oily skin and I can defiantly tell a difference from when I didn't use the cleanser to now. Its got a really nice creamy texture, great deep cleanser and an additional bonus is the fact that it smells great!!  I would recommend this product to anyone with oily skin and needs a more mattified daily look.
I really love this product, firstly the texture and scent of the product is lovely. Nice and creaming with calming scents of eucalyptus which is soothing. I have oily skin, and always gets shiny throughout the day. After using this cleanser I have found that my skin has mattified after every use which is really great. It is great for removing makeup and keeping your face nice and clean. I would recommend this product to anyone who is after a deep clean without feeling drying and keeping oilyness at bay!
