Mavala Switzerland Alpine Softness Micellar Water

I came across Mavala Alpine Softness Micellar Water on an online beauty shopping site and popped it into my shopping bag as an after thought.I had previously tried Mavala nail polishes and I was impressed but that was the only experience I had with this brand. Now this Micellar water is ground breaking -  comfortable, purifying and the added Swiss Mallow Flower extract has a soothing effect on my tired and stressed skin, its easy and fresh and caters to my sensitive skin.There is no fragrance, soap or parabens.  I feel that I'm really clean after make up removal and have noticed there is no parched or dry feel after using this particular product. My serum and day/night creams are quickly absorbed and I feel ready for anything. The Micellar water is housed in a transparent plastic bottle with an easy to read label and just looks that little bit special. I will repurchase as Mavala Alpine Softness Micellar Water is a step up from other brands I have tried and I just love the thought of using pure water from the Swiss Alps on my skin.

A started using Mavala Micellar water about 4 months ago.  I have to admit, I'm pretty old school and was skeptical at first.  I'd been taught to remove my makeup in many steps with many products.  Cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. I've always done it this way, but it's quite time-consuming. I read about micellar water and the reviews were glowing.  Eventually I 'talked' myself into trying one.  Then I did some research.  I 'settled' on Mavala.  As I said, I was pretty sceptical... a WATER was going to efficiently and gently remove my makeup?!  I can't believe how simple it is. It's gentle, no harsh rubbing and it does exactly what it says.. I love it. Hope to get a chance to try more products in the Mavala range.

I love makeup and being outside involved in activities.  My complexion does not, always.  Sensitive skin is my condition to nurture. Mavala Alpine Softness Micellar Water is my  NEW and Suitable and Nurturing  Product for cleansing. Formulated for sensitivity and taking off makeup gently. I do NOt like strong fragrance on my face as it reacts to the ingredients. I like I don’t need to use water either. This is,like the country peaceful, gentle, and full of kindness.

I was re-introduced to the Mavala Switzerland brand not so long ago after using their Micellar Water and Toning Lotion during a European holiday, and now I am once again loving the purity and gentleness of these products.    Alpine Softness Micellar Water is packaged in two sizes – 100ml and 200ml bottles – and is identified by its pink labelling.  The Micellar Water is formulated with pH balanced formulas and is paraben, fragrance and soap free.  Perfect!   I believe the most important part of a good skincare routine is the cleansing process because if the skin is not deeply cleansed then it is not going to look good no matter what you put on it.  I always use Micellar Water during my double cleansing routine so I purchased the Mavala Alpine Softness Micellar Water because it is a formula specifically developed for sensitive skin and eyes and I love products that are gentle on the skin.     I commence my cleansing routine by removing my eye makeup with the Alpine Softness Micellar Water.  My mascara and eyeshadow wipes away easily without the need for rubbing and the skin around my eyes is left feeling comfortable without that dry feeling.    I then use a cleanser all over my face and neck to remove my makeup and after rinsing off and patting dry I then finish off with a cotton pad soaked in Micellar Water and wipe this all over my face and neck.  By doing this I feel my skin is deeply cleansed and free of all impurities and because this is such a gentle formula my skin is left feeling soft and supple.    It is only then, after I am sure my skin is perfectly clean, that I commence applying toner, serum and moisturiser.  My morning routine is similar except I use a cleanser in the shower and then follow up with the Alpine Softness Micellar Water before applying toner, serum and moisturiser.    Pros:  ph balanced;paraben, fragrance and soap free; developed for sensitive skin and eyes; no need to rinse off.    Cons:  Perhaps the price which is in line with similar European brands but more expensive than say supermarket brands.    I totally recommend the Mavala Alpine Softness Micellar Water to anyone with sensitive or irritated skin. My skin is more prone to dryness than anything else and I have found this product perfect for me.  I have not experienced any irritation, redness or dryness.
