Did not have much success with natural instinct products in past. But this cleanser at least did not give me skin reaction that was undesirable.  Have been given a kit from NI to try and part of it was this cleanser.  My skin is oily to combo, mid aged and with big pores. Also have sun damage-pigmentation. Prone to dehydration too.  This is a basic clear foaming cleanser. It is mild and does not cause dryness on my skin after use. Skin feels smooth and slippy a bit. Unsure if that is because ph+ is a bit too alkaline (this feel I get with scrubs based on bicarb...which are very alkaline). Regardless, it was good to refresh my skin in the mornings. But not for evening cleanse when I need something to take off city grime and or spf or light makeup. Then I need something more effective.
This is a foaming cleanser that not only helps with removing makeup, dirt and oil but it does so without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight.  It's a natural product which contains Australian ingredients like Kakadu plum to help brighten the skin.  I love how lightweight the cleanser is and it foams up quite nicely when it's mixed with water.  Sometimes I like to put some of it on my Clarisonic for a deep cleanse and my skin always ends up feeling so soft and clean afterwards.  The product is vegan, cruelty free and very affordable.  I can use it everyday without any issues and I think it would work well for all skin types.
I love the natural instinct range, love that its all natural and Australian made and this refreshing foaming facial cleanser is a winner for me. Its so affordable and lasts for ages as I dont need to use a lot. This is a great product for anyone with sensitive skin as I have as its super gentle and free from chemicals, so no irritation. This gel light cleanser feels light and lathers well, it has a really pleasant fragrance and is gentle enough to use morning and night. It cleanses all traces of makeup, oil, and grime and is easy to use, just lather with water and rinse off clear. I always follow up with my favourite moisturiser for glowing, clean, clear, healthy skin. Kakadu plum and goji berries nourish and feed my skin and I always find it so soothing and very hydrating. I adore this cleanser and highly recommend it.
Having combination skin that turns extra dry during winter, this cleanser does wonders to my skin. I've started using this cleanser before winter cold hit me and my skin survived! There is no difference after the first week of using it, but it changes when I hit the 3rd week of usage. There is absolute ZERO dry spots, softer and smoother skin, no itchiness and long lasting hydration. My make up usually becomes cakey when my skin is dry, but after using this cleanser, my skin has enough hydration and my make up glides on smoothly on my skin. The price is definitely affordable and sometimes it can be at half price during sale ;) The product smells lovely, makes me confident that it is purely botanical and natural. This cleanser is best for all skin types as it doesn't make the oily part of my skin oilier nor the dry part of my skin anymore dryer. It just leaves your skin feeling refreshed and balanced all over.
I like incorporating natural, cruelty-free based skincare products into my skincare routine and the NI Refreshing Foaming cleanser is a recent addition. It comes in a yellowish 110 mL squeeze tube with a brown flip-top lid. The cleanser is a clear gel with a hint of a botanical, plant-like scent which is very in-line with the NI brand. I only need a tiny amount of the gel cleanser which i lather up and gently cleanse my face, neck, and décolletage with in the shower. A little bit of the cleanser goes a long way as it does tend to foam/lather up a lot which might take a bit of an effort to wash off if you squeeze out more than you need.  I have combination skin thats oily and weirdly enough.....dehydrated at the same time. I find that this cleanser strikes the perfect balance between cleansing sebum, dirt, oil, and light makeup off of my skin while still preserving my skins natural moisture. My skin doesn't feel tight, taut or dry after cleansing with this. Because the cleanser is pH balanced, it preps my skin for my serums and moisturiser. Having used this for several weeks, I can honestly say that it hasn't broken me out, or dried my skin out like other cleansers can. The cleanser is vegan, cruelty-free and Aussie made, and is free of a long list of yuckies such as artificial fragrances, colours, sulphates, parabens, etc. And with its affordable price tag, the cleanser has become a staple in my skincare routine.  Pro  A little bit goes long way, thus a tube lasts several months  Non moisture stripping, skin balancing cleanse pH balanced Free of artificial fragrance, colour, sulphates, etc  Affordable  Cruelty free, vegan, Aussie made  Con  Really foamy, takes a bit of effort to rinse off so use a small amount
I love this cleanser. So much so, I'm onto my second tube! I have dry to combination skin and I'm typically a double-cleanse type of person. This cleanser works well for me at the sink or in the shower, with my Clarisonic or with a cleansing brush... it's great. If I use just my hands, I tend to use a bit more product than necessary. A little goes a long way and my first tube lasted me for ages. It's such an economical product. Totally rate this. So much cheaper than some of the other forming cleansers I've used!
To be honest this cleanser is more of a hit and miss for me. I tried this in place of my Nivea wipes and it didnt leave my skin with a squeaky clean feeling as I wanted. If anything, I felt like my skin broke out a little after using this cleanser and my skin is pretty clear. It doesnt lather as much although I like its smell but I wouldnt recommend it for someone with an oily/combination skin as it doesnt "clean" your face as well as it should.

Our range of natural skincare products are formulated with high quality plant-derived ingredients, certified organic extracts & pure essential oils ensuring they adhere to our Natural Instinct Ingredient Standard. We ensure our wash products use a non-sulphate foaming system. Sulphates are surfactants that help products foam and may cause dry skin, itchy skin or skin irritation. We use a gentle natural cleansing system that provides good foam ability and is less drying to the skin. Natural Instinct Refreshing Foaming Cleanser has a nice packing which keep the ingredients safe from light, air and bacteria. I prefer it over other cleansers as it contains skin beneficial ingredients and it is free from 400 potentially harmful ingredients.    The cleanser is transparent and has gel like consistency, it does not leather very well but it does make few bubbles. It has plants like light smell which is not overpowering . In the first few days after using it I washed my face several time, but it left residue on my face. Then I realized that I was using too much and I should leather it first in my hands and then apply on my face.  Now I am using it in that way and it easily removes with few splashes of water.   The cleanser is very easy to use, It cleans my face very well, It removes impurities , sebum and light makeup like BB cream or non water proof mascara.  It does not remove long lasting makeup as it is not a makeup remover. It does not strip my skin  and does not  leave any greasy residue. My skin feels soft and moisturised after each use as it is a hydrating cleanser. I have sensitive skin and this cleanser has not reacted to my dry sensitive skin.   Overall, Natural Instinct refreshing foaming cleanser is a good addition in skin care products. It is great for those who are looking for affordable natural cleanser and have normal, combination, mature or dry skin. I will not recommend it for those who have severe acne problem because it does not claim to work for acne.
I had really wanted to like this cleanser, I was hoping something a bit cheaper and a bit more natural than what I normally use would work.  But it just wasn't for me.  It is easy to dispense from the tube, and foams up nicely, but it left my skin with a sort of film on my face that I just couldn't get rid of.  My skin then felt clogged and it felt like my serum and them moisturiser were just sitting on my skin instead of absorbing.  It's worth a try though as it's certainly not the most expensive cleanser out there, and it seems to do the trick for other reviewers on this site.
I only use my tube of Natural Instinct Refreshing Foaming Cleanser on my face, neck and décolletage in the morning (or on a day that I don't wear makeup) to cleanse my skin without drying it out.   Actually I think it keep the moisture in.   Personally I found this Cleanser doesn't remove my makeup - perhaps it is because I use a Primer.
I was very excited when I could test more natural products. I usually carefully chose my skincare as my skin can act weird when I change my skincare products. I thought that maybe my problems ( a bit of oily skin and blackheads) are because of those chemicals in my skincare. Well, I'd better stick to my chemicals as unfortunately those products didn't work for me. I love the idea behind this cleanser, no nasties, a lot of goodies, but in my opinion this product is just average. It didn't wow me. The packaging is beautiful, the slight scent very pleasant. The formula looked perfect to me for the first time, as I like foaming cleanser, the formula is clear and I thought it would foam and leave my skin squeaky clean. It doesn't lather that much and I don't know whether it is just me but I have got an impression that it leaves some film on my face that it hard to remove with water. I don't really believe that a cleanser can change a lot in your skin appearance ( well, it can clog your pores), but definitely it won't provide 8 hours of continuous hydration or antioxidants in it won't protect the skin. yes, it is refreshing and quite pleasant to use, but this is only it.
You can never go wrong with a cleanser that's affordable, natural and great for your skin! The Natural Instinct foaming cleanser is the first product from the brand that I have tried and I'm happy to report that I love it!  Now that it's spring and we are heading towards warmer weather, I prefer a cleanser that is lightweight and will help balance out my skin without stripping my face of oils and hydration. I use it in the morning to refresh my skin for the day and at night when I am taking my makeup off.  The gentle lather cleanses and soothes the skin, making it ideal for all skin types. My skin would feel so clean yet hydrated, it was a perfect combination! Besides all the amazing ingredients that were in the cleanser, I was happy by what was not in it: Petrochemicals, parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, artificial fragrances and colours, silicones and so much more! It's vegan, not tested on animals and made in Australia.  I mean, it seriously doesn't get better than that!
I have combination skin. I am currently using the whole skin care range of this brand. The consistency of this cleanser is like a clear gel. lightly fragranced and very gentle on the skin. Even though it's called foaming cleanser it doesn't foam and lather up crazily ( what I have noticed). The one thing I noticed instantly was that this cleanser will not strip away your face's moisture and balance but give you moisture. After drying when I touch my face I feel that my face has moisture and hydration & refreshed. I use my clarisonic with this cleanser at night time.  A very good value for money all natural product with no nasties and cruelty free. Highly recommend .
