NIVEA Daily Essentials Extra Gentle Eye Make-up Remover

I purchased this product because I have really sensitive eyes and I have to be careful about the products I use. For a "gentle" product it seemed to be a bit too heavily perfumed. I would have appreciated if there was no scent. This make up remover is effective in removing eye-shadow and eyeliner, but it was struggling with mascara. I had to rub my lashes really hard to get the mascara off (it wasn't waterproof). Rubbing my eyes made my skin really irritated.

This is one of those products that works and doesn’t work.As a makeup remover, it doesn’t work. I always wear gel eyeliner and many coatings of mascara, so I have a fair bit to take off. This hasn’t been an issue for any other eye makeup remover, but with this one I’m going through countless pads drenched with this product to just try to get it off. I actually eventually gave up and decided my face washer would do a better job. As a makeup remover,I didn’t think it was too much of an ask for it to actually remove my eye makeup. However on the other hand, being a water based product makes it a lovely cleaner for fake eyelashes. I originally purchased this to use with my falsies because oil based products can warp and move the lashes apart from each. I can lay my eyelashes on top of a soaked pad and brush over with a cotton tip and it effectively and gently removes all the glue and mascara without damaging the lashes. Using this for my falsies has helped prolong the longevity of the lashes and keeps them neat and fluttery for a dozen or more wears. For its intended use of an eye makeup remover it’s not worth all the tugging and pulling on your eyes to try and get your makeup off, but if you are looking for an effective and gentle product to clean your falsies with this is the one to go with for long lasting lashes. 

I have used this make-up remover for years! it's a great price, and is one of the best eye make-up removers I've found. I have quite sensitive skin, and as the name says - it's very gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. One of my staple beauty items!

I love this makeup remover. It easily and gently removes makeup and doesn't leave your skin feeling stripped bare. I use it with cotton pads and never have to use more than two. It's not oily or stringent either. It lasts a long time and is gentle on your skin. It removes stubborn mascara and long wear eyeliner as well as waterproof mascara. For the price and quality its definitely a bargain.

As someone whose skin irritates easily, this is one of my favourite make-up removers. I found it takes off my eye-makeup and mascara well, without making the skin around my eyes sting like other brands do. Would definitely recommend this product if you too need to be careful with products.

This is a go-to eye makeup remover for people with sensitive skin. I apply a generous amount on a cotton pad and it successfully removes all my makeup without irritating my gentle skin or requiring me to pull too hard on my eye area! Not only that, it's also affordable and the bottle is generously sized. The product doesn't have a distinct smell which I love, but leaves the skin feeling a little bit tacky afterwards, so I always rinse it off after I use it. All in all it's definitely a staple for a makeup collection as it leaves you fresh faced and ready to do it all again the next time!

I have been using NIVEA Daily Essentials Extra Gentle Eye Make-up Remover for a few years now.  It is gentle, light and refreshing on my skin with no noticeable smell.  Not oily like some products that I have used.  A handy sized robust bottle with a flip-top lid that won't accidentally open.  Sturdy bottle doesn't tip over easily and light enough to take a bottle with you when travelling.  It'll be hard to find a better product than this product
