Revlon Colorstay Life-Proof™ Foundation Stick

I've been using Revlon Colourstay Life-Proof Foundation Stick or awhile. I purchased it because I was looking for a change and hadn't used a stick foundation for many years. It is easy to apply and blend. I place a stroke along my forehead, a couple on each side of my face, on my chin and along the bridge of my nose then blend with a sponge. I then set with a quick brush of powder. This foundation is medium to thick coverage and, unless I'm hot and sweaty, lasts most of the day. I prefer to use this foundation in cooler weather though because I dont think it sits as nice on warmer days. Its a handy size to throw in the bag. I've been using a cosmetic spatula to dig out the remains. I do like this foundation and can recommend it but I probably wont repurchase as I have other foundations that I prefer.

This product can be used in different ways. I used it in two different ways - one as a concealer and the other as a foundation. My favourite way was as a concealer or a spot concealer. I found that when I used this as a full foundation for my entire face, it was a bit heavy and by the end of the day it did move around. I also couldn't get my exact tone in this shade range so I tried using this as a spot concealer or concealer around my face. I found that this worked much better! Depending on the day I could use this under my eyes and it was not heavy or cakey. If you do have a lot of eye wrinkles this may not be the best formula as it might be a bit heavy. This also worked perfectly if you had a blemish that you need to cover. I also love the packaging as it is easy to apply and easy to take with you during the day for when you need a touch up.

I absolutely love this product. It really does stay on for a long time. I wear it everyday for work and when I get home and remove my makeup before bed I have a wipe full of this foundation, sometimes even two wipes depending on how much coverage I've used for the day. I have also worn it to the gym a few times as I generally go during lunch so forget to take my face off and after a sweat session I find it's still on my face as again I have a wipe full of the product. It provides great coverage and I love how it's a higher SPF rate than other foundations.

This stick is great for travelling as it doesn’t spill or make any mess, it’s lightweight and fits in my handbag without taking up much room and I can do touch ups throughout the day. I love Revlon and this colour stay life proof foundation stick is high quality super creamy and spreads easily. I like to just blend with my fingers but a good quality foundation brush also works well. It’s great value for money and lasts for ages as I don’t need to use a lot and don’t like a really thick layer anyway. It feels really light and comfortable to wear and gives quite a professional matte finish that lasts really well throughout the day, it covers imperfections and blemishes really well with no nasty oiliness. Overall I love this product and would recommend it

Revlon Colorstay Life-Proof™ Foundation Stick is the perfect size for my handbag as I don't want to take my whole foundation bottle with me every day to work.  This stick is great as it does touch ups during the day and I don't have to get any foundation on my my fingers.  It is perfect for the warmer months when your make up can come off.
