Rachael Finch Loves This Controversial Treatment

Beyond adorable

Whole body cryotherapy involves stepping into a chamber in which your body is exposed to liquid nitrogen of temperatures starting at -40°C and plummeting to well below.

Hmm… sounds pretty uncomfortable, right?

But when the treatment claims to deliver a slew of benefits, including weight loss, boosted collagen production, reduced cellulite, chronic pain management, and treatment of a variety of medical conditions, it’s hard not to see the appeal. No pain, no gain, right?!

However, the practice has been shrouded in controversy with many saying that the procedure comes with no medical evidence to back up its claims.

Regardless, many celebrity personalities – like Lily Aldridge, Yolanda Hadid and Mandy Moore – are obsessed with it.

And it seems Australian model Rachael Finch is totally on board with cryotherapy sessions, too.

She took to Instagram Stories to upload a couple of snaps while stopping in for a session at Alchemy Cryotherapy Centre in South Yarra, Melbourne.

And we’re just going to leave this video here because her reaction following the treatment was BEYOND adorable:

It seems it’s not the first time Rachael has given the controversial treatment a go either. A testimonial from Rachael features on Alchemy Cryotherapy Centre’s website:

“An incredible therapy… I’ve done cryotherapy over the past year, a handful of times. Absolutely love it. My stress is reduced. I sleep better after a session. The inflammation in my body goes down, particularly after I go for a session after I’ve just done a really heavy workout. And, I find my muscle recovery is much quicker.”

Interesting!

If you’re curious about how Rachael Finch stays in shape, this is what she eats in a day.
