How Rosie Huntington-Whiteley does her makeup

No complicated application techniques, just loads of luminosity

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has got her signature luminous look down pat. We have always coveted it but assumed the secret to her glow was a supermodel diet, great genes and a brilliant makeup artist, so we resigned ourselves to the fact that we may never be able to replicate it.

But this week Rosie shared a video on Snapchat to prove that she's pretty good when it comes to doing her makeup and shared a quick tutorial of exactly how she applies her own makeup, proving that with the right products and techniques we too can get her glow.

While we can't recreate the look exactly since Rosie used products from her Rosie For Autograph makeup range (sadly not available here in Oz... yet), here are the steps she took to create her radiant makeup look and our pick of similar products you can use to copy it.

Going straight for a luminous glow, Rosie starts by dabbing her Rosie for Autograph Amazing Radiance Cream onto the top of her cheekbones, brow bone and down the middle of her nose. You can try Nude by Nature Touch of Glow Highlight Stick for a similar sheen.

Next she gives her eyelids serious shimmer with her eyeshadow stick (try this similar Dior product in Orchid) and coats her top and bottom lashes with mascara.

Obviously having picked up a trick or two from her makeup artists while backstage, Rosie applies her bronzer in a ‘3’ shape along her temple, across her cheekbones and along the jawline.

A little rosy blush goes onto the apples of her cheek (and a touch under her brow bones, too, to open up her eyes!) and then she finishes with slick of super glossy lipstick, like Bourjois Edition Aqua Laque Lipstick in Appechissant.

An all-over glow in a minute flat.

Sadly the Snapchat tutorial has expired, but you can catch a glimpse of her how-to video on her Instagram @rosiehw.
