Spring racing season begins next week, so it’s time to start planning out your beauty looks.
One of our favourite things about racing season is getting to try new hairstyles. Like all those ones you spotted on the red carpet that are just too fancy for work or the weekend.
In case you haven’t already got a Pinterest board full of race-worthy hairstyles, we’ve found some for you. And they’re all courtesy of Australian media personality and local beauty muse, Anna Heinrich.
Here are some of Anna’s best hairstyles for spring racing season.
A tried-and-true hairstyle for every girl on the go, if you’re short on time to get race day ready, try a topknot. Besides being a snappy hairstyle to throw together, it has the added bonus of lifting and accentuating your facial features.
Half-up, half-down waves
This is an elegant hairstyle that never goes out of style. Give your ‘do a little extra volume by backcombing the section above your crown before securing it back.
A glammed-up Alice headband
Glammed-up Alice-style headbands were HUGE last racing season and they’re not going out of fashion anytime soon. They’re the easiest way to give any hairstyle a spring racing upgrade.
