The 4 products in Anna Paul’s speedy travel makeup routine

Plus, all the products in her travel makeup bag

Anna Paul may have found success making spicy content online, but it’s her aspirational travel vlogs and relatable down-to-earth attitude that have cemented her place as one of Australia’s most influential content creators.

Case in point? Her recent travel vlog TikTok has amassed 2.4 million views and counting after she dished her speedy travel makeup routine that contains just four makeup products. Plus, she gave viewers a sneak peek at the inside of her self-proclaimed “messy” travel makeup bag — we spotted a well-used tub of Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder ($56 at Sephora), Tarte Cosmetics Maneater Waterproof Mascara ($43 at Sephora) and the Espressoh Glassy Blush by the Glass ($40 at Sephora).

But Paul doesn’t bother faffing around with all of that, instead she goes for the less is more approach — literally. Not surprising, when you consider Paul has just launched her own skincare brand ‘Paullie’.

“I’m about to get ready for dinner in an airport carpark because we are going straight from the airport to the restaurant, and our flight is in two hours,” she explained in the video before opening up her makeup bag and pulling out a tube of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($51 at MECCA).

The TikToker swears by concealer in lieu of foundation, but she advises against applying it under the eyes. “It looks like you’re not wearing makeup, because usually [the] concealer settles under your eye and gets all creased,” she explained. “But if you’re not wearing anything under your eyes, it looks like you’re not wearing makeup on your whole face — trust me.” Instead, she applies a few light swipes of the concealer to her chin, around her nose and between her eyebrows and blends it out.

After evening out her complexion with the concealer, Paul likes to add a bit of colour back into her face with Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush ($39 at Sephora), which she applies to the tops of her cheekbones using a damp Beauty Blender Shadeshifted Beam Sponge ($31 at Sephora). “Then I have this blush, I don’t really know, but I just do that,” she said hurriedly as she urgently dabbed the Beauty Blender into the pink compact. “I put it onto my cheeks and it makes such a difference, it’s so cute.”

“Now do you see that makeup?,” she said proudly as she showed off a face of barely-detectable cosmetics. “[That took] one second, I’m telling you. Literally just concealer and blush, it’s all you need,” said Paul before she exclaimed that she forgot to do her eyebrows. She quickly remedied the moment of forgetfulness with a few artful strokes of Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz ($40 at Sephora) applied through her manicured arches. “Okay, I did it!,” she said excitedly and rushed off into the airport to check-in for her flight.
