Everything you’d find in Hailey Bieber’s makeup bag

It’s home to 3 different blush options

Editor / May 25 2023

If you asked us for a list of the things we’d most desperately like to take a peek into, the top three would probably be Rihanna’s baby name book, Florence Pugh’s Venice Film Festival text chains, and well, Hailey Bieber’s makeup bag.

And while we’re going to go ahead and guess we’re not getting access to either of those first two any time soon (ready when you are, Miss Flo), Bieber is apparently in the business of granting wishes.

Opening up her bag of tricks during an interview with Stylist, the ‘Rhode’ founder gave us eagle-eyed beauty lovers access to one of the most personal parts of a person’s life: their concealer recommendations.

So if you've been up at night desperately wondering "what blush does Hailey Bieber use?!", wonder no more. And spoiler alert: it's not just one…

Foundation: Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation

Ever seen Bieber’s base look anything but radiant? Our point exactly. It turns out she’s a fan of investing in a quality foundation, opting to carry (and we’re guessing frequently apply) Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation ($98 at Myer).

Concealer: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer & Make Beauty Skin Mimetic Concealer Radiant Buildable Concealer

She’s previously confessed to being a Kosas concealer lover (one of our faves too, FYI), but Bieber happened to be toting around two different formulas this time around. Her new faves? NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($51 at MECCA), a cult-classic/celebrity staple, and Make Beauty Skin Mimetic Concealer ($46.38 at Revolve), a similar buildable, brightening blend.

Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

As the global ambassador for glazed skin, you might think Bieber wouldn’t rate/require a powder, but it turns out she just relies on one that sets makeup without adding extra colour, coverage or cake-factor. Her go-to is the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder ($69 at MECCA).

Contour: Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Contour Duo

We know a cream contour fan when we see one, and Bieber’s velvety-smooth sculpted cheekbones are all the evidence we needed. At last we know the formula behind her bronze-y glow: the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Contour Duo ($145 at Myer). We don’t doubt she dips into the illuminating portion of this little pocket palette, too!

Blush/Bronzer/Highlighter: Make Up For Ever HD Skin All-In-One Face Palette

Speaking of multipurpose palettes, it’s hard to beat this one. Bieber doubles down on her love for cream cheek products by carrying around the Make Up For Ever HD Skin All-In-One Face Palette ($130 at Adore Beauty). It may not be cheap, but with foundation, concealer, corrector, blush, contour, and highlighter shades all housed within, it’s definitely damn good value.

Blush: Chanel Fantasie de Chanel Exclusive Creation in ‘Pastel Fuchsia’ & Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek Cream in ‘Rally’

Remember the mention of three different blush buys?! Well, add these two to the previous palette and you’ve got a cheek-tinting power trio! Unfortunately, her Chanel blush compact of choice is currently out of stock (but you can keep an eye on it here at Myer). Her other fave, a creamy blush stick that you may recognise as the Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek Blush in ‘Rally’ ($39 at Sephora), however, is long-lasting, packed with skin hydrators, and perfectly ready to be added to cart.

Mascara: Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara

Mascara recommendations are very serious business, and Bieber is once again proving her incredible taste in beauty buys. She evidently rates the Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara ($51 at MECCA), a tubing mascara that won’t smudge or smear, and adds all the length and lift your natural lashes could ever dream of.

Brow Gel: Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel in ‘Clear’

Celebs have long flocked to Anastasia Beverly Hills for their brow needs, and Bieber is no exception. It seems she likes to tame (but not tint) her arches, reaching for Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel in ‘Clear’ ($42 at Sephora). The fluffy factor of Bieber’s brows is certainly a ringing endorsement for it!

Lip Liner: Tower 28 One Liner MultiLiner in ‘Work of Art’

Considering her Rhode range plays host to a bevy of lip glazing formulas, a lip colour recommendation from Bieber that’s not from her own line has basically become gold! Her beauty bag revealed that she likes to buff a little of the Tower 28 One Liner MultiLiner in ‘Work of Art’ ($24.85 at Revolve) into her pout before plumping up with her signature gloss. We’d go quick; we don’t imagine stocks will last with a name like Bieber’s attached…
