The exact steps needed to copy Hailey Bieber’s signature pearl-nude nails

“I’m really about to reveal my secret to you”

Hailey Bieber is one celebrity that really knows her stuff when it comes to beauty.

As a result, the world is hooked on every tip the model and Rhode Beauty founder is willing to share, from her skin care to makeup and that effortlessly tousled hair. And now, she’s even spilling the tea on how to cop her chrome nude manicure.

“I’m really about to reveal my secret to you guys because everybody’s been asking,” joked Bieber in an interview with Refinery29.

While the 25-year-old leaves the execution of her manicures to celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt, she does admit to having creative control and experimenting with her nails.

“I like making my own colours,” Bieber explained. “I’ll ask her ‘can you mix this with this and then [put] clear [polish] into it and thin it out’.”

But when it comes to her everyday look, Bieber said she sticks to “one coat, like one thin layer of a colour,” which is usually the cult-favourite OPI Funny Bunny Gel Polish ($30 at Oz Nails Beauty Supply). Though she has been known to dip her tips into pinky hues such as Presto #98 ($29.95 at Beauty Merchant), too.

“And then I rub chrome dust over it,” said Bieber. “I’m having, like, a chrome nail obsession.”

Her nail artist then seals everything with a final layer of gel top coat before curing under a UV light.

The result? Shimmery, chrome nude nails. ‘Scuse us while we wipe the drool from our mouths…

But while these polished pearlescent neutral nails are no doubt Bieber's signature, she does occasionally switch things up, as evidenced by this majestic neon yellow manicure.

So how does she make highlighter hues look so damn chic? By keeping the chrome finish consistent regardless of shade. Genius!
