The product

When you look in the mirror and start to notice those pesky signs of ageing (hello wrinkles, lines and dull skin), you want to reach for something that’ll tackle these bad boys, ASAP.

A good serum has your back. Now, when it comes to choosing one, you want something that is a hard-working, high-performing multitasker that contains a range of age-defying ingredients. Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Serum is one of these gems, and it packs a real punch on the anti-ageing front. It has a high dose of antioxidant-rich Viola tricolor extract, which is scientifically proven to enhance the hydrating effects of hyaluronic acid and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.

It’s also formulated with rejuvenating yarrow extract to help smooth the skin’s overall texture for a more youthful-looking appearance. The combination of meadowfoam seed oil and marshmallow root extract helps the skin feel firmer and more hydrated.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this product to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Serum, along with Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Eye Cream and Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Moisturising Cream, to a panel of women between 30-40 years old who were concerned about lines, wrinkles and dull, tired-looking skin.

The lowdown

Here's what the Review Crew® loved about Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Serum:

How soft it made their skin feel:Reviewers found that the serum rejuvenated and hydrated, with many commenting on how firm, plump and smooth their skin felt after application.

How easily it absorbed into the skin: Our testers liked that the serum was lightweight and absorbed readily. One of our members commented, “It isn’t oily or creamy and feels really light and gentle on the skin. It also doesn’t leave any residue when you build other products on top”. A few reviewers also mentioned how it was great value for money as a little goes a long way.

How bright it made their skin look: Review Crew® members noticed a difference in the texture and tone of their skin, with many commenting on the bright, fresh glow it gave their skin.

Good to know: While many reviewers found the fragrance of the serum to be quite subtle, it might not be for you if you prefer scent-free products.

The verdict

“This serum is so lovely and hydrating! It’s smoothing, and leaves my skin feeling so soft and silky after application. It’s great for morning and night, and especially after a shower to bring back a bit of moisture.”
“The packaging is gorgeous, the product smells amazing and my skin has never been better. I have been using this in combination with the matching eye cream and moisturiser, which I would recommend doing. The product absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave a nasty residue.”
“Very pleasant scent and the texture and the way it soaks into the skin was lovely! It was easy to put other products on top when used in both morning and night. The pump style applicator is fantastic, way easier than the usual dropper style. Would definitely recommend this product.”
