Meghan Markle smoky eye makeup

It’s the most daring makeup look from the Duchess to date

Meghan Markle just traded in her usual pared-back makeup look at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday bash and we need to talk about it.

The Duchess was spotted arriving at Buckingham Palace with hubby Prince Harry, and the first thing we noticed was her *stunning* makeup look.

Since becoming a royal earlier this year, you’ve probably noticed that Meghan has been opting for very minimalistic and natural-looking makeup, looking positively flawless and glowing 100 per cent of the time. We’re BIG fans of this look on her, but when we spotted her wearing a rare bolder makeup look, we were equally in love.

Just check it out for yourself:

Unlike her usual neutral brown eyeshadow hues, Meghan showed off a striking and sultry-looking dark smoky eye that was blended over her upper lid and lower lash line. We also spy a sleek cat eye flick, along with those hard-to-miss fluttery lashes. It’s probably the most daring eye look we’ve seen from the Duchess in, like, forever – and we have to say, we’ve missed the old Meghan!

The royal also showed off a more bronzed complexion than usual, teamed with quite possibly the most stunning highlighted cheekbones (seriously, her skin is so luminous we’re nearly blind!) and a glossy pink lip.

On the hair front, Meghan said goodbye to her usual messy bun and wore her hair up in a classic chignon, which looked uber polished and elegant.
