Now more than ever we truly appreciate a salon-fresh manicure, bouncy blow-dry and the wizardry makeup artists perform on our faces.
However, we’ve also become very accustomed to our couches and the convenience of at-home delivery.
Lucky for us, there are some stellar at-home beauty apps that allow you to book hair, makeup, nails, tanning, massages and more, straight to your door. Consider it the Uber Eats of beauty.
Such services are extremely convenient when getting ready in a big group, before a wedding or (if you like to have a glass of champers while you’re made positively stunning) as an alternative to driving yourself to a salon.
But hey, you also don’t need an excuse to indulge in what these apps have to offer. So no matter whether you live in Sydney or Melbourne, have a special occasion or not, we’ve rounded up the best beauty apps for at-home services in Australia.

Not sure whether you want to go to a salon or have a professional come to you? Vaniday offers both and will allow you to price compare, search in your location and read reviews before making a very informed decision. Genius and convenient.

If you’d previously heard of the app Glamazon (which was one of the first at-home beauty services app), it was bought by Indian home-services platform Urban Company in 2020. Now under the Urban Company name, it continues to provide at-home waxing, manicures, facials and hair services across Sydney. A mask was recently added to the logo to symbolise the COVID safe measures the company would be taking.
