Billie Eilish just brought back the hair trend we never thought we’d see again

Superstar singer Billie Eilish was recently snapped at the Gucci LACMA Art + Film Gala wearing a brave new haircut from a bygone era that we never thought we’d see again.

In a moment no one saw coming, Billie brought back the ‘80s favourite haircut: the mullet.

If anyone could pull off this highly divisive hairstyle, it would be Billie. She could literally roll out of bed and still look chic… But, we’ll be totally honest. We’re not sure how we feel about it – even on the super-cool 17-year-old singer!

Fortunately though, it seems Billie has no plans to keep her new ‘do and is already trying to grow it out. 

As it turns out, the style came about purely accidentally following an unfortunate hair burning incident. 

In an interview with TMZ, Billie was questioned on whether her new mullet was here to stay. Billie quickly shut down the idea of embracing the mullet, saying:

“No listen, you know what happened? Somebody dyed my hair and they burnt half of it off.”

Yikes! That is completely terrifying. But at least we can all breathe a sigh of relief now. The mullet isn’t here to stay.
