The gloss-boosting spray Kylie Jenner relies on for shiny glass hair

She’s not the only celeb fan, either

Whenever Kylie Jenner (or as we like to call her, the hair colour chameleon) switches up her shade for the zillionth time, the reveal is always met with an influx of “but is it a wig?” style responses.

And while that’s obviously partly because we’re all well aware of her long-time wig obsession (how else could you live out your Barbie pink or platinum blonde dreams without touching the bleach or blush dye?), we must say it’s also got to have something to do with the fact that her real hair is so damn smooth and glossy that it could pass as faux any day.

Well, in a blessed twist it looks like Jenner may have finally revealed the identity of the very product she relies on to send her shine factor through the roof, sharing a glimpse at a certain shine spray in action via her Instagram Stories.

It’s not a newbie by any means – any beauty buff worth their while could recognise that chrome can anywhere; after all, it’s a product almost as iconic as the Hollywood hair it’s used on. It’s called the Colour Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, and if you’ve ever caught yourself lusting after Kim Kardashian West’s silky strands, you’re going to want to add it to your haircare stash pronto. In fact, it’s the very spray her hair stylist Chris Appleton relies on for his signature ‘glass hair’ finish.

Described by Appleton (who also happens to serve as the brand’s artistic director) as an ‘umbrella for hair’, it’s the perfect prep product, designed to leave your mane humidity-proof, frizz-free and satiny smooth in just a few spritzes – the word supernatural is in there for good reason; its smoothing and gloss-boosting abilities certainly defy the laws of nature.

It’s not solely for straight styles either, though. In fact, just in case Appleton, Kardashian West and Jenner’s respective seals of approval still aren’t enough to convince you, let us remind you that it’s also the very product that kept JLo’s cascading curls completely free of frizz and flyaways through a 15-minute Super Bowl halftime show filled to the brim with hair flips. Pulling that off is practically the hairspray equivalent of winning the Super Bowl.
