Shay Mitchell can’t live without this luxe lip balm

A cult fave amongst beauty lovers

Shay Mitchell always has great product recommendations, so when the Pretty Little Liars star revealed to The Strategist the things she couldn’t live without, we were all ears.

What’s one of Shay’s beauty must-haves? La Mer’s The Lip Balm.

“One thing I hate is having dry, chapped lips. I always bring my La Mer Lip Balm with me to keep my lips soft. I love the consistency and how it keeps my lips moisturized all day.”

Now, we’re not entirely surprised to see this on Shay’s list, as her makeup artist, friend and spokesperson for La Mer, Patrick Ta has been known to rave about this bad boy constantly in interviews. “My personal favorite lip balm is by La Mer! It's so moisturizing and leaves your lips hydrated and smooth without looking too shiny. It's great for men and women,” Ta shared with The Zoe Report.

And that’s not where the celebrity fan list stops with this luxe lip balm. Ta confessed to Travel & Leisure last year that another one of his celebrity clients, Chrissy Teigen, loves to travel everywhere with the lip balm, as well as the Crème de la Mer moisturiser, “just because it really does the job nourishing and hydrating the skin, so everything looks nice and moisturized by the time you land,” he explained. Blake Lively also keeps a pot of it in her beauty stash.

Fortified with La Mer’s trademarked Miracle Broth formula, this lip balm is intensely repairing, helping to soften and soothe dry, cracked lips; it even contains a patented lip lipid complex that promises to strengthen the delicate skin barrier.

Yes, it doesn’t come cheap at $95 a tub, but it will last you ages and it *actually* works, which is money well spent in our books.
