We couldn’t be more on board with her life advice

With an incredibly busy schedule, thanks to her highly-successful acting career as a singer, songwriter and actress, Mandy Moore has become quite the expert at managing her time so that she can keep her wellness in check.

In an interview with Allure, Mandy explained that her wellness routine starts with listening to her body.

"At a base level, self-care for me really comes down to listening. If you're tuned in to your body, it encourages you,” Mandy said, explaining that she personally carries stress in her upper back.

"I'll be driving, and I'll notice my shoulders are all the way up underneath my ears. That's when I know I have to take 10 minutes and meditate.”

Plus, Mandy’s self-care isn’t just limited to one or two steps, she takes an approach to her health that encompasses all aspects of her life.

"Wellness is more than just what I'm putting on my plate. It's about how much sleep I'm getting. It's about making sure that I'm setting aside time for my friends and family and having as much of a work/life balance as possible. It's making sure that I take time to meditate or exercise or just get outside and walk my dog," said Mandy.

Wise words, thank you, Mandy.

We couldn’t be more on board with this advice. In today’s busy world, it’s easy to get caught up in the trappings of balancing the commitments of day-to-day life and forget to make time to take care of your body.

On that note: Does anyone have a dog we can borrow to walk tonight?
