Including the nifty brow hack we never would have thought to try
Rachael Finch is a busy woman. She’s a model, TV presenter, radio host, model, author and mother of two small children. As a result, she relies upon a simple and quick makeup routine that will get her out the door in under 10, while still ensuring she looks fresh, radiant and put together.
Lucky for us, Rachael shared that very makeup routine in a recent Facebook Live and if you’re looking to learn a plethora of top beauty tricks in just a few minutes, then you’re going to want to read on.
To begin with, Rachael starts with a fresh, makeup-free face that has been cleansed and moisturised before applying a small amount of concealer (she used Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer) underneath her eyes. “I like to dab rather than drag [the concealer], as I feel it soaks into the skin a little bit better,” she explained.
Next, Rachael applies a dusting of Jane Iredale PurePressed Pressed Base Minerals SPF 20 powder to her T-zone to add a touch more coverage, set her concealer in place and ensure oil and shine production is kept to a minimum throughout the day.
Rachael then curls her lashes before applying a few generous coats of Colour Theory’s Define Mascara. 10 points definitely goes to Rachael’s amazing mascara faces!
Last but not certainly not least, Rachael tames her brows using a nifty trick that we’ve never seen before. To set her brows in place she takes a toothbrush and smudges a small amount of hair wax into the bristles before brushing it through her brows. Genius!
