9 celebrity beauty looks that stole the show at NYFW
Get ready for some *serious* beauty inspo

New York Fashion Week had us drooling over the non-stop hair and makeup trends – all of which we can’t wait to try. And while there’s been a whole lot of action on the runway (i.e. did you hear that the banana clip is making a comeback?!), we have to say that the celebrities in the front row are the ones who stole the show for us.
From wispy bangs to violet lip looks, here are the NYFW celebrity beauty looks we simply can’t get enough of.
Is it just us or is Zendaya totally killin’ it of late? She popped by fashion week rocking a slicked-back wet hair look and her eyebrows shaped to *absolute* perfection. Teamed with a glossy red lip, her entire look screamed athleisure chic. Oh and her outfit? On Instagram she joked, “When you got the gym at 4 but got to investigate some sh*t at 5.” She just oozes a whole different level of cool.
Oh Blake! Those beautiful side-swept mane! The pretty pink lip! The shimmery eyeshadow! Looking every bit feminine and elegant, Blake’s honey-blonde hair and low-key makeup pulled her look together in a completely effortless way.
P.S. We can totally understand why Blake has been getting glammed up by makeup artist Kristofer Buckle for 11 years straight - he slays it every time.
Jourdan Dunn attending the Michael Kors fashion show had us falling in love with violet *everything*. She rocked up wearing a pair of retro sunnies teamed with winged eyeliner, curled lashes and the most stylish bob we ever did see. Jourdan’s playfully chic look is hard to ignore and is giving us some major inspo. Our prediction? Purple hues will be all the rage in 2018.
It’s no secret that Cardi B has been turning heads at this year’s NYFW (did you hear she made Anna Wintour smile?!) – and for good reason. In our favourite look yet, Cardi B opted for a pigmented sweep of shimmery metallic eyeshadow, dark lined eyes and thick voluminous lashes for a seriously amped-up eye makeup look. The rapper paired her makeup with luscious waist-length waves along with some next-level nails.
Is it just us or does Margot Robbie pull off any look with ease? Spotted at the Calvin Klein show, she showed off heavily lined smoky eyes, signalling a bold, moody look that we are totally diggin’. With her locks swept back into a neat bun, she kept the rest of her makeup quite natural, which meant all the focus went to those giant baby blues.
Attending the runway show for homegrown fashion label Zimmermann, the Aussie model caught our eye with her enviable clear and luminous complexion. Sporting a daring neon pink eyeshadow that was blended right up to her brow bone, Bambi also heroed her signature filled-in brows that never fail to deliver in the #browgoals department.
The girl can do no wrong. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made an appearance in the front row of Brandon Maxwell’s show looking absolutely smouldering. With a natural-looking glow and perfectly accentuated lips, Rosie’s makeup was nothing short of flawless. That said, what really got our attention was her new bombshell bangs – her gentle blonde waves and face-framing fringe gave off some major ‘60s vibes in the best kind of way. *Immediately books hair appointment*.
